Song Karn Day (sorry for being late)

It's May already now...Umm.mm..m.It's mean I was so late to talk about Song Karn Day for 2 weeks. But hope you guys can forgive me. I was really busy about my US Fiance Visa and spending most of time for contacting the US and Japan embassy. So up to now, my situation is I have to stay in Thailand and waiting for the Police certificate from Japan embassy at least 2 months. It's not too bad to be at home a bit (?) longer. But I am just worry about my braces 'coz it will hurt me so soon... -"-

My Song Karn was great even I did not do much thing after I skipped it for one year. Usally on Apr 14; family day, our family does the Rod-Nam-Dam-Hua (blessing water) for blessing our elder members of the family (in my case is my mother's mom, she is 76 now). And special for this year was I have a chance to go to my dad hometown on Apr 15 which I have a chance to Rod-Nam-Dam-Hua to my dad side too.

My dad was Rod-Nam-Dam-Hua my grandmom at my house.

Me was Rod-Nam-Dam-Hua my Dad's older brothers and sisters (my dad have 12 sibling)

On the way home, teenagers was having fun by pouring water to everybody. (I was in the car)

My Mom's little garden

April is the hottest in Thailand, yes now the hot and humid still going on..TOT.. ron~ ron~ ron~ (mean hot hot hot). The preparation for my wedding also still going on..yep going on...My house cleaning was almost done..So, it's a good time to introduce everybody how my Parents'house in Thailand look like.

First, here are the flowers pic around my house.

Tomorow will be Thai Songkran Day or Thai New Year and the beginning of the water festival. Very nice just to think about it. Nothing will be better than pouring the water to somebody during the hot and hot summer.

Hi everybody, I am back....I just arrived here for a week.Thailand is so hot and humid especially in Bangkok. By the way, I am not going to camplain about the weather since I miss this kind of weather even in hot but it warmer than snow.

How great time to be back home in Korat my home town, good foods, good weather (better than Bangkok) and good to be surrounded by my family. The wedding preparation still going on. Yes, a lot to do. But I will try to bring all of my patience together with me.

I just took some picture from the rest stop area. It was beautiful and kind of popular reststop before reaching my hometown. The lake view, resturant, clean toilet is here to serve all of you to get some rest before continue the journey.

Last week it was rain for almost everyday and finally even the rain had a day off. I brought a camera targeted to get some Ume (plum) blossom pictures. The spring was starting but Sakura still halfway with a very little buds.

OMG, After I didn't update my blog for almost 2 months. I forgot my username and password! It took me about 30 minute to fix it out how to get it back...T_T poor me...

Well, forget about my silly stuff. Such a lazy girl that didn't update my blog since NY party. BTW, I have an exuse yep popular one. I 've been very busy! hehe it's true, though! After NY, I went to ski at Hakuba Go Ryu, Nagono-Ken. Then, when I went back I 've been a busy wedding shopper from Japanese site..Ohhh~I bought a lot a lot of things from yahoo.co.jp/auction. Exspecially the thing for my wedding(I will talk more about it later). My wallet so cold now not only my feet.

Then I got a lot of Japanese test and my Economics subject's reports....Um~~ then what I did. Oh! I got a birthday party which 5 day in the role! and then Geisha make up...Toji Feamarket and Karaoke and Karaoke...Umm it's pretty enough to say I've been busy, I thought haha....

Happy New Year 2006

Yep! Another year came...It's almost two years since I am living in Japan. Yesterday we had a nice house dinner party (again I couldn't believe I can fit 10 people in my small room). Then around 11PM we moved to Shinpuhkan for counting down the year 2006. On the way to Shinpuhkan we stopped by Lawson Sanjo for buying a drink to celebrate, one of our friend lost a bicycle key! So, we started looking around the bicycle, Lawson to find it. Unfortunately, we didn't found it and the time was running out.

By the way, we decided to manage the people to fit on the number of bikes and went to Shinpuhkan.Lukily, we hit there in time. It was a beautiful place and the concert was going on at the stage. We went up stair at the 3rd flrs, took a pictures and then it was a time..5..4..3..2..1 and "Happy New Year 2006"

I got a phone call from my boyfriend, he said "Happy New Year 2006". It was such a great feeling to say Happy New Year to someone you love and care. BTW, his New Year was behind Kyoto for 13 hours that means 3PM in Japan. T_T Long distance celebrate for this year. But hopefully we will for 2007.

Last year I made a big decision about my life, give up school, get marry, move to US, etc...So, this year in 2006 it has so many things is waiting for me. Either good or bad I am reaaly lucky that I have a great friends and families who loves and supports me all the time. Thank you so much...!

Labour Day Road Trip II (Niagara Falls Part 2)

The next morning we woke up and get ready to visit Niagara Falls. It was so beautiful day with blue sky.
As I wrote in The part 1 that we will take a tour with the Maid of the Mist. It was a boat trip that will take you down there under the mist (just like heavy rain) of the Falls.

We had to take an elavator down to the pier. It was high and you can get a beautiful view on that building.

Open Air, No cover...They gave us the poncho to protect ourselves from the heavy mist. But, not really help..T_T

This was the Rainbow of the Falls. It just like wraping around you. Because it was a circle Rainbow!! First time in my life to see circle rainbow! It was amazing for me...Thank you so much my dear to take me there and hope we can go back there again one day...

Labour Day Road Trip II (Niagara Falls Part 1)

Hi Guys,
Sorry for taking so long from last time update. As you knows I had a busy schedule lately... :P But now my life is back to normal Japan living foreigner again...Such a cold winter this year, ha? Stay warm and healthy.
Last time I talked about Labour Day Road Trip that I will continueing in this time update. It's seem like everybody want to see the pictures from Niagara Falls....Yeah! It was amazing and really great experience. I 'm still remember the circle rainbow, the sounds of water and how great that nature can created.

We got Niagara Falls at Night time, they lighted up all the Falls like a disco light. The city you can see behind the falls is Toronto, Canada. I recommend if you can enter to Canada you should go there. Because of the accomodation and scenery is a lot better.

We was travelling all day from IL to NY...So tired and hungry then we decided to find some resturant and have dinner. Quess what? All of the town was not really have any good resturant for dinner. But luckly we still found the choice. It was "Hard Rock Cafe" that served our stomach that night.

It was a good apetizer...So good! I like American Food even whoever say the food there is suck but for me I love food and really have no problem to try a new thing.

After meal, we went to the only one casino around there, it calls "Seneca". Well we got lucky! We won about 40$ for 3 hrs spending... haha..ha..Just for fun but then we had enough money for the Maid of the Mist tour in the next day. (continue Part 2)

Labour Day Road Trip Begin (Aug-Sep 2005)

As you guys know, this year I escaped the hot and humid summer in Kyoto to visit my boyfriend in Naperville, Chicaco. I posted some of Chicago on my old blog already and by that time it was the beginning of my HTML curiousness.

In the middle my visit my boyfriend who just began his job for 2 months, was really brave to ask for 7 days off during Labour day vacation with his boss. Luckily his boss and his colleages was really kind and nice to approve his application to take a days off. Thank you so much to everybody there...You guys are so nice to us...

So, our first road trip started....Our plan was from Naperville, IL heading to buffolo to visit Niagara Falls, NY then stop by my boyfriend college best friend house at Binghamton, NY and driving down to his parent house at Lendenberg, Pensilvania. Total time we took from Naperville and back is acxactly 7 days. And Yes my boyfriend drive almost everyday (except the day we stop) probably you will ask why I didn't help him?. I am not lazy but what I 'd like to say is "because first, I don't have license and Second, I couldn't even cross the road at the beginning so how I could drive LHD car!!". (So from my position we can call in Thai as "Tuk Ka Ta Na Rod")

My boyfriend car is Subaru Outback Sedan 2004 model with leather interior and moon roof. It's pretty reliable and didn't have any problem about it at all during our trip (it was about 2,000 miles in total distance). But because of the big engine and as you know during that time the Herricane Katrina just hit New Orlean, the gas price increase 50% with in 2 days. Such a big effect to our trip that we have to spend over budget for the gas .

Our trip was so wonderful. Thank you so much for everybody at my boyfriend workplace for giving him a holiday and thank you for my boyfriend for organizing and support the budget for this trip...I will write more tomorow about all beautiful place we went because it's 1AM now time to say good night...(Thai = Ra Tri Sa Was)

The Second Fall in Japan

Well...first of all, this is my second blog so please do not confuse. The reason why this blog was builded is I ruined the old one because of my stupid mistake about HTML. Right, I just tried to do something that I don't know about. It was difficult and yeah it was failed.

By the way, I decided to start my new blog and will begin with the lastest picture from my new camera (I just bought Sony DSC-H1). Still don't know much about how to use it, SOB!!

Shugakuin Imperial Palace...I have a lot of good memories there again. Last year I went there with my boyfriend but now we live far away so this time I went with my friends. It's still beautiful as the way it is...The attraction of Japanese garden.

But the pain was I have to be there at 9Am. It was such tough thing for me who always woke up at 10 or 11 everyday. Because one of my friend also want go there by bicycle so I woke up at 7 for leaving home at 7.50 but unfortunately his tire got flated, so I had to ride alone on the way up heel (T_T) for 50 mins...OMG! it's such a good exercise.

Next time I gonna skip Kyoto and Momiji to bring you guy back to photo of my US trip. Don't get bored...Let me catch up!
